I. No-load and Exchange-traded Fund Portfolios

After receiving input from a client questionnaire provided by Calder Investment Advisors and as
well as a review of your financial profile, you will be advised to choose one of the five model
choices noted below which will vary in terms of risk exposure and management style:

  1. Capital Preservation Strategy
  2. Moderate Growth Strategy
  3. Wealth Building Strategy
  4. Aggressive Appreciation Strategy
  5. Market Leaders Strategy

The above options utilize no-load mutual funds and exchange-traded funds for both the fixed
income and equity portions of your account. We can tailor your account as either a buy and hold
account or provide protection through the use of strategically based moves to lower levels of
equity exposure at certain well defined points in the equity market cycle (usually reserved for tax-
deferred accounts only).

II. Individual Stock Portfolios

Small Cap Financial Services Portfolio - This is a professionally managed portfolio of
regional bank and financial service company stocks. This managed portfolio takes
advantage of the tremendous growth, professional management, local service, and
financial stability of regional banks and financial service companies.

    III. Individual Fixed Income

We utilize our research capabilities and analyst contacts to build an income producing
mix of preferred stocks, corporate bonds, and government bonds which meet your risk
profile and principal preservation needs. We feel there is tremendous value in selecting
quality non-investment grade securities that can be used to optimize income generation
needs. Typically a low turnover option which can be utilized in both taxable and tax
deferred accounts. (Minimum suggested investment of $75,000)
Beyond Managing Money
We feel that our job involves much more than just managing portfolios. As a part of our annual
review with each client, we set assets in the context of the amount of money they are likely to
need for a
financially secure retirement. This is the "financial planning" part of our work. We
also review our investment strategy objectives and determine if changes in life circumstances
warrant a change in investment strategy.

For clients who are not yet retired, this involves setting appropriate goals for
saving as well as
investing. The kind of saving
targets that one sets for the last 5 to 15 years that you are working
can dramatically affect the standard of living that you will be able to enjoy in retirement.
